Renewable
raw material: wood

Our material, wood, is a renewable natural resource sourced from sustainable and certified forestry.

This protects the environment and ensures the long-term availability of this valuable raw material, making wood a particularly sustainable choice for a wide range of applications.

Organic
CO2 storage

A wooden pallet is far more than just a means of transport – it is a natural CO₂ store.

Trees absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere as they grow and bind it in their wood. This stored amount remains throughout the pallet’s entire service life, helping to slow the carbon cycle and reduce the CO₂ footprint.

Reusable &
sustainable

Wooden packaging and pallets are reusable & can be adapted to specific requirements to extend their service life.

Simple repairs and treatments such as impregnation or drying ensure durability. Material savings provide companies with a sustainable and cost-effective solution.

Repairability &
long service life

In the event of damage or wear, wooden pallets can be repaired, which offers a significant advantage compared with other materials such as plastics or cardboard and provides an elegant solution.

These often cannot be repaired and therefore have to be replaced after a single use.

Recyclable &
energy recovery

At the end of their life cycle, wooden packaging can be recycled or used as an environmentally friendly fuel. In the form of wood chips, they can be used as biomass for energy generation. The recycled material can also serve as feedstock for manufacturing new wood products (e.g. chipboard for pallet production, OSB boards).
